Botanical painter, art teacher, art material developer, and mother of five.
My journey began in 2016 with a simple watercolor brush and a deep longing for purpose. At the time, I was working as an accountant, searching for something more meaningful. When I discovered botanical art, something inside me awakened. My early paintings were far from perfect, yet they carried a quiet joy that I had been missing for years.
Later that year, I had the privilege of studying with renowned botanical artist Vincent Jeannerot in Riga. That experience strengthened my dedication and led me to continue my studies with the Society of Botanical Artists in London, where I graduated with Distinction in 2019. The journey required patience, discipline, and daily practice, and it shaped not only my skills but also my character as an artist.
In 2020, as the world slowed down, I began sharing my painting process online through in depth watercolor tutorials. What started as a small step into the digital world gradually grew into a warm and supportive international community of artists.
From that community, Kristine Art was born. Kristine Art is more than a brand. It is a creative home built on connection, encouragement, and a shared love for beauty in the ordinary. Alongside teaching, I carefully design and develop watercolor materials, from sketchbooks to brushes, each one thoughtfully tested in my own studio to support a joyful and refined painting experience.
My mission is to help you reconnect with your creativity, paint with confidence and calm, and discover how art can gently transform the way you feel and live.
However you found your way here, I am truly grateful.
Let us create something beautiful together.
Yours truly,
Kristine
